Cattle services better than hospitals case study
An example why Cattle services are better than hospitals.
Amongst the non demented people was an old lady in a wheel chair, unable to move her wheelchair herself. So she told mom: let’s wait until the nurses have their tea-break, you join them in the cafeteria and I ring the help-bell in my room.
So it’s tea break and mom goes to the cafeteria. Mom sits in the cafeteria and a bell rings. Some of the nurses seem to be alerted yet nobody of them stands up. When the tea break is finished it takes another 20 minutes before the old lady in the wheelchair get’s a nurse in her room. Now listen:
Says the old lady in the wheelchair: "Why nobody comes when I ring my help bell"?
Says the nurse: "Did you? Oh, then your bell must be out of order…"
