God walks in mysterious ways
So mom has a torn ligament (see post: pain in the shoulder) and although mom is in pain, she is very hesitant to go for an operation. Meanwhile a classmate from her has done the same operation and is now in the revalidation centre at walking distance from where mom lives (ok, an hours walk in nature is still walking distance). Unfortunately mom is now experiencing pain in her hips and back, so she is not in for a walk… God on the other hand does walk, be it in mysterious ways 
On the other hand: or niece and hubby are staying at moms place, and so far all is well. But keeping in mind that our niece is pregnant, the stress level will raise soonest the new baby is born.
